Bocawina Rainforest Resort & Adventures (formerly Mama Noots Eco-Resort) is located four miles from the Southern Highway in the Mayflower Bocawina National Park (Stann Creek District), a short drive from the Garifuna beach towns of Dangriga and Hopkins Village, and at north of Placencia Village.
Some of the airlines that serve Belize include United, American, Delta and US Airways, all arriving during day light hours into the Philip Goldson International Airport near Belize City. Traveling to our location from here is done overland or by plane.
By air one can take a 20 minute, small plane, scenic flight, south, along the coast to Dangriga. Our driver will meet you upon arrival and transfer you another 20 minutes by van to the resort. Upon request we will reserve your domestic flights for you. The price is approximately $90US one way from the International or $65US from the Belize City Municipal Airstrip.
On request we will arrange a Bocawina vehicle and guide to pick you up anywhere in Belize and escort you and your group to our jungle location.
Overland, one can travel using public transport, private vehicle charter or you can rent a vehicle and arrive on your own. Reliable vehicles can be rented online ahead of time, or at the International airport on arrival. Our office can provide you with rental car information. The drive to the resort from Belize City takes approximately 2.5 hours.
There is regular, reliable local bus service. We can meet you at the Dangriga bus terminal or other location by arrangement.
